Chocolate Chip and raisin scones
These scones were so delicious. I made them for our fellowship get-together and everyone loved them. I got the recipe from one of my favorite cooking blogs. www.mommyskitchen.net

Rainbow cake
I made a rainbow cake for our girl scout troop ceremony. I had my daughter write all the girls names on the white fondant. This idea came from Sweetapolita's blog. She has beautiful cakes and desserts on her website. Go check it out!

Cookies ready for delivery
Our Easter cookies are ready to be delivered to my daughter Cassandra's class. Actually, I will be sending them on the bus on Friday morning. Hopefully, they don't break (cross my fingers). I only had one baggie so I just packaged the lamb and tulip cookie for our bus driver, Yolanda.
Decorated Easter Cookies
My friend Monica gave me a cookie decorating lesson last week and this is what I made. After she showed me how to decorate, I went home with a batch of cookie dough. A week later, I finally had the chance to bake and decorate. I had so much fun!
Here is a close-up of the cookies. I'm still learning how to keep my hand steady - drinking coffee prior to decorating probably doesn't help.
