Blessed Square Bear

I just created a new Blessed Bear to give to a friend at her baby shower. My girls thought it was the cutest one that I have made so far. I loved the little bear too. She was made with lots of love and prayer. The verse written on the bear was Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God is in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

Blessed puppy

Made this little puppy for one of the ladies in my bible studies class for her son who is having a hard time with his daddy leaving for navy duty.  I pray that it will bring him comfort.

I tried experimenting with making homemade caramel.  It didn't work quite as I had hoped.  The caramel kept sliding off the apples.  However, they still tasted great and the girl scouts devoured them!

More Handmade Scripture Dolls

I finally completed another scripture doll and a new square scripture bear.  I got this pattern from a wonderful book called "Sew Darn Cute" by Jenny Ryan.

My daughter decided she wants to keep this square baby scripture pillow.  I'm so glad she is still my biggest fan.

Busy week crafting and baking

This week I have spent my time crafting and baking in the mornings.  My daughter Cassandra has been going to summer school in the mornings, while my youngest daughter is attending vacation bible school and my oldest daughter and husband are volunteer with VBS at our church.  I still have not been able to complete the projects, but I have most of the sewing done.
